BOMA Spokane offers education opportunities with a focus on the Commercial Real Estate Industry. BOMA’s education concentrates on training today and tomorrow’s workforce to be successful in commercial real estate.

Our Educational Offerings Include:


RPA/FMA Courses

We have partnered with BOMI International to provide courses that apply toward Designation and Certificate Programs for those who look to a future in Property or Facility Management.

 

CMCP Certification

In conjunction with BOMI International, we are promoting a new certification, the Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP) certificate. This certification is perfect for individuals who are newer to the industry (3-5 years) and are looking to grow

Foundations of Real Estate Management Course


A soup-to-nuts, 5-module, 28-hour entry-level course, covering the fundamentals of commercial real estate administration, management, building systems, accounting and reporting, contract management and more. It is hosted by BOMA Seattle King County at least once a year and is offered once a week over a period of 5 weeks.

Classroom instruction from seasoned professionals, reinforced by behind-the-scenes tours of outstanding buildings. Live, in-person training with small class sizes to facilitate learning, discussion and team activities. A complete package—instruction, peer networking, property tours and a comprehensive course manual that is easy to read and a valuable resource back on the job.

Membership Luncheons


BOMA Spokane’s membership typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month for a membership luncheon. Our keynote speakers at these meetings present on current topics relevant to the commercial real estate industry. See our current upcoming luncheon dates here.

State of WA Real Estate clock hours

Most seminars/classes are submitted to the Department of Licensing Real Estate for clock hours. Approved seminars/classes meet renewal requirements for those with Real Estate Licenses. The number of clock hours is indicated in the seminar/class description. For more information about how to renew your real estate license, visit the www.dol.wa.gov.

Course/Seminar Cancellation and Refund Policy 

  • A full refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the class start date. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel a class with less than 48 hours, you have the option to apply the credit toward a future class or seminar within the same calendar year. Cancellation within 48 hours are non-refundable.

  • Please register early. If there are not enough registrations 5 business days before the class, the course will be cancelled. In this event, a full refund will be issued to all those that registered.
