3 Open Board Positions
The BOMA Spokane board has three open positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 term! We are seeking letters of intent from principal and associate members for these positions.
Serving on the BOMA board is a rewarding opportunity to shape the future of the commercial real estate industry, expand your leadership skills, and build lasting connections within the commercial real estate community. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, November 7th. The BOMA nominating committee will review applications and recommend a slate before the general membership at the November 19th luncheon.
To apply, submit your information in the form on this page with a letter of intent. The letter of intent should detail why you are interested in board service, your experience with BOMA, your history in the commercial real estate industry, and how you think you would best support the board of directors team throughout your term of service.
Only current BOMA Spokane members in good standing are eligible to apply. Prior service on a BOMA Spokane committee is encouraged but not required.
Board Service Details:
BOMA Spokane board members meet once per month for a 1-2 hour board meeting.
Board members attend a board retreat at the start of each year for a full day to create a yearly strategic plan.
Board terms are a TWO YEAR MINIMUM (applicants would serve through December 2027)
Board members typically each chair one committee. Often, newer board members are paired with seasoned board members to co-chair committees. Committee meetings range from quarterly to monthly depending on the committee.
Board members typically attend the once-per-month membership luncheons as possible.
The BOMA board is supported by an executive director that assists the board to organize, plan, and execute the associations mission and purpose.
