Part 2 of a NEW Education Series presented by BOMA Spokane

Cracking the Code of Hiring: Insider Tips for Successful Posting, Screening, and Interviewing for Skill and Culture Fit

Half-Day Workshop - Wednesday, June 3rd

Join us for the second session of BOMA Spokane's NEW five-part 2026 Education Series!

Hiring is one of the highest-impact decisions an organization makes, yet many leaders are forced to make those decisions without a clear, repeatable process. This interactive half-day workshop is designed to help business owners, managers, and hiring leaders strengthen their approach from the very beginning of the hiring cycle through final interview decisions. Participants will learn how to create clearer, more compelling job postings, identify the traits and competencies that actually matter for success in a role, and improve their ability to screen and interview for both skill fit and culture fit.

This session goes beyond generic hiring advice by equipping participants with practical tools, insider tips, and real-world strategies to reduce costly hiring mistakes. Attendees will explore how to define what “good” looks like before posting a role, how to avoid common screening traps, and how to ask stronger interview questions that reveal behavior, judgment, values, and potential. The workshop also addresses how to balance experience, skill, motivation, and team fit without over-relying on resumes or gut instinct alone.

Presented by BOMA Spokane in partnership with Champion Empire.
